Thus, the MB was modified into the CJ-1. Then came the CJ2 which was widely known as the AgriJeep, but was used solely for test purposes. It was based on the military Willys MB but stripped of all its military features. The first full-production CJ was the CJ2A which was primarily intended for farming, ranching and industrial applications and came with unique, lively color combinations. Over 200,000 units were produced, making it a success. The rest is, as we say, history.
